HANOVER TWP. — Kristen Coffay just missed perfection, but Tiana Wren didn’t miss the car. Despite another shutout win for Holy Redeemer — this one an 8-0 blanking of Hanover Area — there were some interesting moments in the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 3 softball matchup Wednesday. Foremost was Coffay, who took a perfect game into the seventh inning only to have Hanover Area’s Sara Whitesell lead off the inning by dropping a single into short center field.
