SNEEDVILLE — A tight game and a blowout Friday kept the Twin Springs baseball team undefeated on the young season. In the opener of the interstate series with Hancock County, Justin Reed struck out 13 batters in just five innings and the Titans won 4-1 despite each team managing just two hits. Dillon Thompson singled and drove in both Twin Springs runs, and he and Reed doubled. In the second game, Twin Springs (5-0) pushed across 10 runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 16-2 victory. Titans starting pitcher Tanner Dingus fanned 11 batters over four innings of work on the mound and drove in four runs on three hits — including two doubles — at the plate. Cole Burke, Conner Gilmer and Thompson also chipped in a pair of hits and two RBIs apiece.
