Rep. Bishop's Longtime Top Aide Departs To Take Post With Mormon Church

Washington • Rep. Rob Bishop’s longtime top aide, Scott Parker, is leaving the congressional office to take a post with the LDS Church’s Washington Temple, and a onetime intern who worked his way up the staff hierarchy will take over. Parker has served as Bishop’s right-hand man since Bishop’s time as chairman of the Utah Republican Party from 1997 through 2002.
