There still may be a market for former Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy.According to ESPN's Ed Werder, Hardy's name has come up in discussions about how to replace injured linebacker Junior Galette.Washington coach Jay Gruden confirmed Tuesday to The Associated Press that Galette is out for the season with a torn right Achilles.Galette missed the 2015 season with a torn left Achilles. The report of Washington's interest in Hardy comes after the Jaguars brought Hardy in for a workout last week but never hired him.Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell later said the team has "no imminent plans" to sign Hardy, characterizing the workout as "homework.""We want to take calculated risks and we'll take chances, but we're not going to do this at any cost, either," Caldwell said.If Washington were to hire Hardy, that would mean he'd get two cracks at the Cowboys next season.
