Canyon authorities are investigating a reported sexual assault at a West Texas A&M University residence hall. The University Police Department on Wednesday became aware of an incident involving two university students, according to a crime alert posted on the WT website, The person who reported the assault said a female student was sexually assaulted late Tuesday evening by a male student in his room in a WT residence hall, the alert read.
