Search for Rian Johnson Reveals His Plans For A New Star Wars Trilogy on Bing

There's no greater vote of confidence for director Rian Johnson's work with Star Wars: The Last Jedi than the fact he's already been announced as the director of a new standalone Star Wars trilogy set in a previously unexplored corner of the galaxy. But just how much freedom will he really have to "introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored," as the announcement of the new trilogy promised.
