An overturned meat truck has blocked both lanes on Highway 221 at Linder McGurdy Road, closing the entire roadway. According to Columbia County Sheriff’s Capt. Butch Askew the tractor trailer was carrying refrigerated meats and overturned around 8:30 a.m. about a mile from the dam on the Georgia, South Carolina state line.
