PHOENIX — Torey Lovullo forged his managerial identity over four seasons in the swingingest division in baseball. As bench coach of the Boston Red Sox, and next to skipper John Farrell, Lovullo soared and suffered watching a team finish first, last, last and first in consecutive seasons in the American League East. Now he’s the manager in Arizona with designs on dismantling a division that sets up to be, like the AL East, among the toughest in the game. “I enjoy being scared,” Lovullo said Tuesday.
