Local, longtime newscaster Romona Robinson will discuss her Emmy Award-winning career in broadcast and read from her new book, "A Dirt Road to Somewhere," at 6:30 p.m., Jan. 9, when she comes to Mentor Public Library's Main Branch - 8215 Mentor Ave. in Mentor.Robinson became the first African-American woman to anchor a newscast in Cleveland in 1987, and she has remained a fixture of the city's broadcast news scene ever since, according to a news release.
