Convicted felon Donald Trump gave Sean Hannity the silliest solution to drug addiction and alcoholism ever uttered by a political candidate.
DONALD TRUMP: I understand the addiction world. And I've also lost not only a brother, I've lost a lot of friends to addiction drugs, alcohol, and there are other addictions.
Also, frankly, it would be nice if people would do certain things and live certain ways, but you're not able to.
In the clip above, you can see Donald Trump in Nevada waving at people who aren't there. Trump supporters like to determine that President Joe Biden has dementia while unsurprisingly presenting no evidence to back that up. Trump, though, has waved at imaginary crowds on several occasions. If Biden did that, it would be all over the media.
MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann discussed what Trump might be in for when he has to sit down with his probation officer this Monday.
As we already discussed here, Trump has "a virtual meeting scheduled with a New York City probation officer from his home at Mar-a-Lago with his attorney Todd Blanche at his side after he was found guilty on all counts in the hush money trial against him last month."
As Weissmann made clear to host Jen Psaki, that meeting may include a whole lot of questions Trump doesn't want to have to answer:
PSAKI: I want to ask you about, and it was right before we came on the air, there was some exclusive reporting by NBC News that Trump is scheduled for a Zoom interview with the probation officer tomorrow.
Donald Trump held a rally in Nevada days after supporters ended up in a hospital after succumbing to heat exhaustion in Arizona. And the bazillion-degree weather in Vegas didn't stop Lumpy from holding his lie-filled rally. Of course, Trump flew into the area in an air-conditioned plane while his supporters waited in the record-high temperatures plaguing the Southwest.
Fox News host Shannon Bream noted Sunday that former President Donald Trump's plan for Ukraine meant that Russian President Vladimir Putin was getting "what he wanted."
Bream discussed Trump's second-term plans for Ukraine during an interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) on Fox News Sunday.
"You talk about annexation, so I want to bring this up because there are reports that what President Trump plans to do to end that conflict is to potentially push Ukraine to give up Crimea, parts of Donbas," Bream noted.
A key advocacy group in Leonard Leo’s network paid millions to his consulting firm, a new filing shows, the latest example of Leo’s web of nonprofits sending money to his business. Did Jesus say it was okay to evade taxes to personally enrich right-wing heroes, I wonder? Via Politico:
The Concord Fund, a Virginia-based nonprofit, paid $6 million to Leo’s firm CRC Advisors between July 2022 and the end of June 2023 for “Consulting,” according to the filing, provided to POLITICO by the left-leaning watchdog group Accountable.
