Royals Rally Again, Beat K-mets 7-4 To Take Series

BURLINGTON, N.C. — For the second straight night, the Kingsport Mets grabbed an early lead. For the second straight night, they gave it up.Burlington erased a 4-0 deficit on Friday and went on to a 7-4 victory over the K-Mets that clinched the Appalachian League series win. The Royals opened the three-game set with a 6-4 comeback victory Thursday.Kingsport (5-6) scored three runs in the second inning Friday and another in the sixth to build a 4-0 lead.With two runners on in the K-Mets’ half of the second, Kevin Kaczmarski doubled to drive in a run.
