Russian Biathlon Union Accepts Fine Over 2014 Doping Cases

SALZBURG, Austria (AP) — The Russian Biathlon Union is accepting a fine of 100,000 euros ($106,000) over three doping cases, including two that came ahead of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Spokesman Ivan Tugarin tells The Associated Press that the RBU "has no reason and no intention to appeal" the fine imposed by the International Biathlon Union.
