From Staff ReportsEDMOND — Children ages 4 to 7 spent part of this week participating in the Edmond Fire Department's Children's Safety Challenge. The purpose of the safety challenge was to provide children with information that could save their lives. The challenge was held at the Children's Safety Village, a small-scale town complete with a city park, buildings, streets, traffic light and vehicles. Children learned fire, traffic, water, pedestrian and other personal safety skills from uniformed firefighters, police officers and public works employees. Read more on NewsOK.com
