BOULDER — Shedeur Sanders is on the clock.
But even he’s not sure that the Broncos will have time for him now.
When asked after CU’s Black & Gold Game at Folsom Field if he was disappointed to see Denver draft a future franchise quarterback in Bo Nix, the Buffs signal-caller smiled and said:

In the hours after the Colorado Avalanche traded for Casey Mittelstadt, NHL Network analyst Brian Boyle made a pretty profound point when analyzing one of the most fascinating young-player-for-young-player swaps in recent league history.
Boyle said that when the Avalanche practice, Nathan MacKinnon is going to be the first center in every drill, and then Mittelstadt is going to be up next.
Another piece to the puzzle on defense is on the way and Colorado’s 2025 football recruiting class is coming together.
On Saturday, former Michigan and Charlotte linebacker Nikhai Green-Hill committed to the Buffaloes. In addition, two high school prospects announced their verbal commitments to the Buffs and head coach Deion Sanders.

LOS ANGELES — Listening to Aaron Gordon talk about himself, you’d think he was simply another cog in the Nuggets’ finely tuned machine.
While teammates and fans gush when Gordon tears down an offensive rebound and follows up with a power dunk, the blue-collar forward sees it as a gritty part of his job.
“I’m just lurking on the baseline, trying to clean up all the garbage,” he said.
When Gordon is described as the catalyst that spurred Denver to a 3-0 lead in its first-round playoff series vs.
The Broncos’ active Saturday produced more than 2024 draft picks.
Denver also acquired veteran defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers from the New York Jets in exchange for a future draft pick, multiple sources confirmed Saturday to The Post.
ESPN reported the Broncos are sending a 2026 sixth-rounder to New York.
Franklin-Myers has started all but one game for New York over the past three seasons.
After becoming a violent pass rusher at Colorado State, Mohamed Kamara will take his talents to South Beach.
The Miami Dolphins took Kamara in the fifth round (158th overall) of the NFL draft. Kamara will join a Miami draft class that currently includes first-round edge rusher Chop Robinson, offensive tackle Patrick Paul and running back Jaylen Wright.
Kamara left Colorado State after finishing second in career sacks (30.5) and third in career tackles for loss (45.5).
