With Super District commissioners Grady Smith and Marion Williams at the helm, negotiations with Augusta administrator candidate Janice Allen Jackson got under way Monday in a nearly two-hour meeting behind closed doors. The negotiations resulted in no agreed-upon salary amount or contract, Smith and Jackson said, but went “very well,” according to Smith.
