Salem Reassures Residents Water Is Safe Amid Chlorine Shortage

State officials are scrambling to address an oncoming shortage of chlorine, a chemical used to disinfect water, due to power outage at a northwest plant, but officials are reassuring the public the water still remains clean and safe to use.
