A 20-year-old Salt Lake City man was in serious condition after crashing into an SUV that suddenly pulled in front of him. Police said the man was riding westbound on 300 South, on the sidewalk, when the SUV exited an alley at 1220 East at about 4:15 p.m. The bicyclist was unable to stop in time to avoid smashing into the vehicle’s passenger-side door. The bicyclist was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was expected to recover.
