Salt Lake City Trims Impact Fees

The Salt Lake City Council adjusted its impact fees Tuesday resulting in lower fees for housing as well as commercial and retail development by excusing those uses from the city’s road fee. But industrial development in the city’s west side industrial area will continue to be assessed a road fee of $2.26 per square foot. Impact fees per housing unit are set at $3,035.
