Salvation Army, Marian House To Feed Thousands; Turkey Donations Needed

Fort Carson soldiers are on a 96-hour mission to cook 300 turkeys and prepare more than 1,600 pounds of sides for those in need this Thanksgiving. At least 250 volunteers, including Fort Carson's senior military leadership and their families, will work three 24-hour shifts starting Friday morning to prep and then serve the estimated 3,000 meals. The Thanksgiving Day meal will be served Thursday from 11 a.m.
