Savannah, Ga., Considering Limiting Vacation Rentals

The city of Savannah is considering limiting short-term vacation rentals starting in July. Savannah City Council members and residents are concerned that neighborhoods are being overrun with visitors. The coastal Georgia city of about 150,000 residents gets 12 million visitors a year. City staff is considering limiting the number of vacation rentals that can operate in the city, as well as placing caps on how many can be located on a block or street, according to a story on the Savannah Morning…
