Savannah May Get Training Center

ATLANTA – The conference-committee version of the $22 billion budget passed Tuesday night includes $17.7 million to build a training center for workers of a large factory planned for Pooler outside Savannah. State officials aren’t offering many details, but carmaker Volvo has acknowledged that Georgia is one of the states it is considering for a new plant.
