Savannah Technical College has selected outstanding students and staff for some of its highest honors. Sarah Hunt is the 2015 Instructor of the Year and recipient of the Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction. Hunt, the humanities and fine arts department chair, will represent Savannah Technical College in the regional and statewide competitions for technical instruction honors. “From incorporating technology into the classroom to creating collaborative and cooperative learning environments, Sarah continues to be innovative,” said Savannah Tech President Kathy Love. Paralegal studies student Ruth Ann Dutton is the 2015 Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership, or GOAL, winner for Savannah Technical College.
