(The Associated Press) South Carolina tax officials say they will halt audits of service businesses that previously did not have to pay sales taxes.The Post and Courier of Charleston reported Saturday that the state Revenue Department agreed to stop the audits until lawmakers can address whether sales taxes must be paid on services.
