CRANSTON, R.I. — The City Council’s Ordinance Committee Thursday night voted once again to postpone a proposed resolution calling on the General Assembly to pass legislation that would ban guns from school grounds.City Councilman John E. Lanni has been trying since February to get a version of the resolution passed, but it was tabled after none of the Republican members of the Ordinance Committee would make a motion to consider it.
