GATE CITY — More than 200 children across Scott County received new clothes, hygiene items and school supplies on Thursday as part of the Scott County Rotary Club’s annual Back-to-School project. Who: Led by project co-chairs Ashley Clark and Whitney McConnell, several club members and other volunteers gathered at Gate City United Methodist Church on Thursday morning to load the supplies for delivery.
