(09-02) 09:52 PDT INVERNESS -- Rescue teams resumed searching Tuesday for a swimmer who went missing at Point Reyes National Seashore on Monday afternoon, officials said. At about 2 p.m. Monday, several swimmers successfully crossed the mouth of Drakes Estero while the tide was out. But on the return trip against the tide, one of the swimmers vanished, the National Park Service said. An ensuing search effort was suspended after sunset, and resumed Tuesday with dive teams, jet skis and a helicopter. Hamed Aleaziz is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
