Survivors from across Northeast Mississippi say they coveted the support from their friends, families and neighbors to help them through treatment and beyond. “It makes a world of difference,” said Wanda Barbour Dent, who is a breast cancer survivor and the women’s health nurse navigator at Baptist Cancer Center in Oxford. Belinda Reynolds, who lives in the Kirkville community on the Lee-Itawamba county line, has felt wrapped up in the love of the community since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2015.
