While cops were busy trying to take a bit out of crime over the weekend, an accused shoplifter was taking a bite out of a sheriff's deputy.James Deandre-Lynn Gift, 20, of Detroit is being held in the Macomb County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 interim bond set when he was arraigned on two charges including biting a Macomb County Sheriff's deputy, according to Sheriff Anthony Wickersham.
