Sheriff's Office Quiet About Recent Murder Arrest

Police are releasing few details on a recent arrest for murder, but warrants have confirmed it is connected to a May case. Shakara Shanese Harden, 28, was booked into the Richmond County jail Friday on charges of murder and criminal attempt. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has declined to comment on the case, stating only that the case remains under investigation. According to warrants, Harden is accused in the armed robbery and death of Marcus Mandrell Scott on May 24. read more
