The widow of a retired Rich­mond County sheriff’s lieutenant is filing suit after waiting a year without receiving her survivor’s pension. Linda Goodman said she’s struggled since her husband, Bill Goodman, died last October. “Bill talked about it all the time – you don’t have anything to worry about, you’ll have Social Security, you’ll have these benefits, you’ll be taken care of,” she said.
