Denver’s oldest African-American church held a get-out-the-vote drive Sunday with the Rev. Timothy Tyler blessing ballots and some congregants walking or driving to drop them off at a polling station set up at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Tyler told his congregation that they can’t afford not to vote, and that is up to them to get out in the community and let the world know that God expects everyone to feed the hungry and care for the poor. He made only a veiled reference to the current presidential candidates, saying that he has seen a candidate that can’t discuss issues, but does discuss “body parts,” a reference to Republican Donald Trump. The election Nov.

    Poultry producers will be required to bring salmonella bacteria in certain chicken products to very low levels to help prevent food poisoning under a final rule issued Friday by U. S. agriculture officials. When the regulation takes effect in 2025, salmonella will be considered an adulterant—a contaminant that can cause foodborne illness—when it is detected above certain levels in frozen breaded and stuffed raw chicken products.

S. nationally representative study, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
