NEW HAVEN >> Spring is when our top theaters announce next season's plans, and there are some crowd-pleasers on the horizon for a College Street landmark.The Shubert Theatre will present "Beautiful - The Carole King Musical" next March and kick off its Broadway Series of shows with the return of "The Book of Mormon" in September, almost two years after the show's previous record-breaking stint at the historic theater in 2015.
