Snyder is proposing an additional $130 million in funding over the next two years for the Great Start Readiness Program. The funding boost would allow the program, which now enrolls about 30,000 children, to serve an additional 18,000 students in fiscal year 2014, and an additional 18,000 students in fiscal year 2015.
