The chairman of a Senate panel investigating the massive data breach at the state Revenue Department says he doesn't believe the hacking of another agency's website last week was a prank. Sen. Kevin Bryant of Anderson, who chairs the Senate subcommittee looking at the hacking of the Department of Revenue, told GreenvilleOnline.com that he believes there was more to the attack of the website for the state Department of Employment and Workforce than is publicly known, though he hopes he is wrong.
