By Brooke Pryor Staff Writer bpryor@oklahoman.comWACO, Texas — While Baylor quarterback Zach Smith prepared to fire off a pass on the second play of the second half, Oklahoma cornerback Jordan Thomas cheated up, scooting in front of wide receiver Chris Platt. The senior sagged off the wide receiver, ready to grab an interception should Smith throw it his way. And indeed, the Bears' quarterback let the ball fly in Thomas' direction, but Smith went just over the cornerback's head and found Platt, wide open on the left sideline. Platt turned and sprinted toward the green and gold end zone, untouched as he completed the 72-yard touchdown. It was the kind of play that Oklahoma hadn't given up all season — until Saturday night.
