Anita Coelho was born in Wisconsin, grew up in California, went to Alaska for a while, moved to the Boston area in 1987, and currently lives in Medford. Her mom is from Maine, her dad is from Brazil, and Coelho spent her childhood summers rotating between Wisconsin, Maine, and Brazil.
