HIGHLAND, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a hostage standoff at a San Bernardino County home ended with the shooting deaths of a woman and a man who was holding her hostage. Two small children also held hostage came away safe. Sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller tells the San Bernardino Sun that a man called authorities Wednesday afternoon to say his wife, 4-year-old daughter and baby were being held hostage in their home by a male cousin.
