BARRINGTON, R.I. — Kids called her Four Eyes. Even worse, Frankenstein. From birth, Casey Evans’ skull and facial features were oddly shaped. Her head bore fresh scars immediately after each of her multiple surgeries — 300 stitches in all. And she wore thick eyeglasses and prescription goggles for sports. Learning, too, has been difficult. But Evans always had her mom’s words in her mind.
