Police are keeping an eye on a bus stop in the city's Westover section, where three girls complained Monday of being approached by a strange man. Lt. Diedrich Hohn said extra patrols and unmarked cars are watching the area around Cedar Heights and Shadow Ridge road, and drop-offs will be monitored in the neighborhood just off Long Ridge Road. After being dropped off at the corner by a school bus from Rippowam Middle School at 2:30 p.m., one of the girls said a man got out of his car and began following her as she walked past a few houses on Shadow Ridge Road.
