Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley will be joining Naomi Watts for a retelling of Shakespeare's Hamlet focused on the royal women. Ridley will play the title character Ophelia, and the story will explore her romance with Prince Hamlet and her relationship with Queen Gertrude, played by Watts. The film will be based on the novel by Lisa Klein.
