The Star Wars Rebels panel today at WonderCon included the debut of a new clip – and the reveal that one more key player from Star Wars: The Clone Wars would be returning, in the form of composer Kevin Kiner. The panel consisted of executive producer Dave Filoni, art director Kilian Plunkett and voice actor Vanessa Marshall, who plays the show's pilot, Hera – plus surprise guest Kiner. Check out the clip, showing Hera in action, below. Filoni noted that this scene is one of the first you’ll see on the show and acknowledged it was “very much derived from the scene in A New Hope where they’re trying to escape from the TIE Fighters,” to quickly show what the series was going for in terms of evoking the spirit of the original Star Wars.
