Work crews toiled under a blazing sun Monday setting up the groundwork for the 10th annual Stars & Stripes Festival at Freedom Hill County Park in Sterling Heights.For the first time, promoters say they will be using the entire county park to accommodate the carnival, attractions, bands, and fireworks for the festival, which runs Thursday-Sunday.
