Ferry service between Seattle and Bainbridge Island is suspended Tuesday afternoon after the vessel known as the Tacoma stalled near Bainbridge Island during its trip from Seattle. Washington State Ferries has given little information about the incident, only saying the Tacoma “has been taken out of service for necessary repairs.” Meanwhile, the Sealth was diverted from the Seattle-Bremerton route with passengers on board to tow the Tacoma, presumably to Bainbridge Island.
