The Associated Press CHARLESTON, W.Va. - West Virginia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.9 percent in January.WorkForce West Virginia says the number of unemployed state residents dropped by 100 last month.Since January 2014, total nonfarm payroll employment has risen by 3,200 in the state.Among the employment gains last month were 1,100 in educational and health services and 600 in manufacturing.
