It came as no surprise to Draymond Green that the Warriors forward was asked to sit out Friday night’s game against the Bulls. Before the season started, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr talked to him about taking the occasional outing off to rest. Friday’s matchup against a rebuilding Chicago team, which came in the middle of perhaps the Warriors’ most grueling stretch of the season, made sense for Green to sit out. By resting Green, Kerr accomplished two things: He gave his emotional leader a much-needed break, and he freed up playing time for rookie Jordan Bell.
