STICKNEY, S.D. (AP) — Voters in Stickney and Corsica have overwhelmingly voted to consolidate their school districts. The Daily Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1rP3bKA ) that the proposal gained 80 percent approval in Corsica and 84 percent approval in Stickney in Tuesday's election. The consolidation prompted by declining enrollment will take effect July 1, 2015.
