Stinson’s Parkside has been a destination for generations of beachgoers who have fueled themselves on hamburgers and soft-serve ice cream. Over the past few years, this snack bar and restaurant has expanded into a miniature food hall catering to a range of tastes. Former San Francisco chef John Gilbert and his wife, Maxine, owners since 1999, added a bakery three years ago, then a coffee stand and then a retail space called the Room, which sells local artisanal products, including McEvoy olives and olive oil, Mann Family Farms eggs, ceramics by Kelly Farley of Pope Valley Pottery, and flavored honeys and sparkling mead from Heidrun Meadery in Point Reyes.
