From Staff ReportsA severe thunderstorm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for much of north central Oklahoma on Wednesday afternoon. Alfalfa, Blaine, Garfield, Grant, Kay, Kingfisher, Major and Noble counties are under the watch, which is set to expire at 11 p.m. Threats associated with the storms include half-inch sized hail and wind gusts of more than 50 mph.
