Stories Related to Students With Disabilities Shine During Graduation Ceremony

Every morning for two months straight, Tori Sherman asked her mom if the big day had arrived. She wanted to put on her new yellow dress and that long red gown and bask in the glow. "She was so waiting for this," Susan Sherman said. Because Tori's developmental disabilities make it difficult for her to keep track of time, anticipation and enthusiasm were sort of stuck on a loop until Wednesday, when she and 22 other students graduated from the school-age programs operated by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.adcelannotate = {"mobilepaywallcategory" : "MOBILE_PREM-LOCAL","nativepaywallcategory" : "NATIVE_PREM-LOCAL"};
