BLOUNTVILLE — Sullivan County’s four high schools had 12 first-place finishers recently at the Tennessee SkillsUSA competition in Chattanooga, and all are moving on to the national competition this summer. The state competition was March 31 to April 3, and the national one will be June 24 in Louisville, Ky. Sullivan Central had the most winners, including five first-place finishers: — Ethan Plummer, Rachel Moody and Amanda Meadows won a gold medal for chapter display.
